May 2021 NTP rose 0,12 percent compared to April NTP

Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) for May 2021 is based on calculation of NTP with the base year 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 sub-sectors, namely the rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries.
  • In May, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 94,49 with NTP of each sub-sector was recorded at 93,26 for sub-sector of paddy-palawija (NTP-P); 106,33 for sub horticultural sector (NTP-H); 90,70 for the crop subsector people's plantations (NTP-TPR); 103,77 for subsector livestock (NTP-Pt) and 92,84 for fishery sub-sector (NTPPi).
  • There was an increase of 0,12 percent in May NTP when compared with April NTP. The increase in the price index was caused by increase in farm-level commodity prices.
  • In rural areas there is no change in commodity prices
