Kupang, June 2, 2026 - The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) has again released several strategic indicators for East Nusa Tenggara Province for April-May 2026. This was conducted online and presented by the Head of BPS NTT Province, Matamira B. Kale.
Here are some key points from today's release:
1. In May 2026, East Nusa Tenggara Province experienced year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation of 2.76 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.60.
2. The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) for East Nusa Tenggara in May 2026 was 99.86, a 0.45 percent increase compared to the April 2026 NTP of 99.41.
3. East Nusa Tenggara's trade balance from January to April 2026 recorded a surplus of US$18.48 million, consisting of a US$17.32 million surplus in the non-oil and gas sector and a US$1.16 million surplus in the oil and gas sector.
4. The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in star-rated hotels in April 2026 reached 40.97 percent, an increase of 8.87 percent year-on-year and a 23.10 percent month-on-month increase.
5. The number of air transport flights in April 2026 increased by 0.38 percent compared to March 2026 and increased by 3.26 percent compared to April 2025.
