On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) released several strategic indicators for East Nusa Tenggara Province for February-March 2026. The release took place in the second-floor hall of the NTT Provincial BPS Office and online via the BPS NTT Provincial YouTube streaming account. The release was delivered live by the Head of BPS NTT Provincial, Matamira B. Kale, S.Si., M.Si., and attended by representatives from relevant agencies and the media.
Here are some key points from today's release:
1. In March 2026, East Nusa Tenggara Province experienced year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation of 2.40 percent. The highest y-o-y inflation occurred in Waingapu at 2.88 percent. 2. The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) for March 2026 was 100.27, a decrease of 0.65 percent compared to February 2026.
3. The East Nusa Tenggara trade balance for January–February 2026 experienced a surplus of US$9.02 million.
4. The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in star-rated hotels in February 2026 reached 31.04 percent, an increase of 9.74 percent year-on-year.
5. The number of air transport flights in February 2026 decreased by 18.78 percent compared to January 2026.
