Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the NTT Province BPS again released several strategic indicators for the conditions of East Nusa Tenggara Province in May-June 2025. The release was carried out online via the NTT Province BPS Youtube Streaming account and was presented directly by the Head of the NTT Province BPS, Matamira B. Kale, S.Si., M.Si.
Here are some important points of today's release:
1. In June 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province of 1.72 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.51. The highest inflation occurred in South Central Timor Regency at 3.92 percent.
2. The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for East Nusa Tenggara in June 2025 was 99.35 or down 0.59 percent compared to May 2025.
3. The East Nusa Tenggara trade balance in January-May 2025 experienced a surplus of US$ 27.85 million.
4. Foreign tourist visits (wisman) through the main entrance in May 2025 reached 18,926 visits, up 95.38 percent (y-on-y)
5. The number of air transportation flights in May 2025 decreased by 0.42 percent compared to April 2025 and increased by 1.68 percent compared to May 2024.
