The NTT Provincial BPS has again released several strategic indicators of current conditions. The release was presented by the Head of the NTT Provincial BPS, Matamira Bangngu Kale, and broadcast live via the NTT BPS HUMAS YouTube channel. The following are several indicators released by the NTT Provincial BPS:
- The NTT economy in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 3.66 percent compared to the same period in 2023 (y-on-y).
- On the business side, the highest economic growth was achieved by the accommodation and food and beverage business sector, which was 13.56 percent.
- On the expenditure side, the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) experienced the highest growth, which was 11.06 percent.
- The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2024 was 3.02 percent, down 0.12 percentage points compared to August 2023.
- The working population in August 2024 was 3.02 million people, up 0.13 million people from August 2023.
- The business sector that experienced the largest increase was Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries by 0.09 million people.
