East Nusa Tenggara Trade Balance in January 2023 experienced a surplus of US $ 1.59 million

Abstract

  • The import value of East Nusa Tenggara Province in January 2023 reached US$ 2.48 million with a volume of 5,138.1 tons. The value of imports in January 2023 decreased by 87.44 percent from imports in December 2022. Compared to January 2022, the value of imports increased very large, namely 3,323.6 percent.
  • Imports in January 2023 came entirely from the non-oil and gas sector worth US$ 2.48 million.
  • In January 2023, the largest decrease in non-oil and gas imports in NTT in November 2022 against October 2022 occurred in the Machinery / Mechanical Aircraft (84) commodity group which decreased by 99.93 percent compared to the previous month.
  • Non-oil and gas imports in January 2023, came from Vietnam through the port of Tenau, and Timor Leste through the land gate in Atambua.
  • The Trade Balance of East Nusa Tenggara in January 2023 experienced a surplus of US$ 1.59 million, mainly from the non-oil and gas sector with a surplus of US$ 1.54 million and the oil and gas sector with a surplus of US$ 0.05 million.
