East Nusa Tenggara Trade Balance in November 2022 experienced a surplus of US$ 5,42 million

Abstract

  • Exports of East Nusa Tenggara Province in November 2022 reached US$ 5,449,934 with a volume of 10,346.1 tons. The export value in November 2022 increased by 15.67 percent from exports in October 2022. Compared to November 2021, the value of exports increased by 130.02 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in November were valued at US$ 5,283,315, up 19.58 percent compared to October 2022 and up 134.77 percent compared to November 2021.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of NTT from January to November 2022 reached US$ 43,421,345, an increase of 201.44 percent compared to the same period in 2021. Meanwhile, non-oil and gas exports reached US$ 41,563,195, an increase of 207.32 percent.
  • The largest increase in NTT's non-oil and gas exports in November 2022 against October 2022 occurred in the commodity group of Various Processed Foods (21), which increased by US$ 121.76 thousand (up 155.78 percent), while the largest decline occurred in the Animal / Vegetable Fats & Oil (15) commodity group which fell by US$ 304.75 thousand (down 52.92 percent)
  • Non-oil and gas exports in November 2022 through loading ports in NTT were all sent to Timor Leste.
  • According to the port of origin of goods, NTT's largest export in January-November was carried out through Atapupu port at US$ 37,502,979 (62.09 percent) followed by Tenau Port at US$ 4,199,769 (6.95 percent), and through the land gate of the national boundary in Atambua at US$ 1,018,829 (1.69 percent). As much as US$ 17,678,992 (29.27 percent) of export goods from NTT are exported through loading ports outside NTT.
