October 2022 Farmer's Exchange Rate increased by 0.73 percent when compared to the period in September 2022.

Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for October 2022 is based on the calculation of NTP with a base year of 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely rice & palawija subsectors, horticulture, plantation crops
In October, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 95.83 with the NTP of each subsector recorded at 94.59 for the rice-palawija crop subsector (NTP-P), 101.53 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 91.19 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTP-TPR); 109.39 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 95.73 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was a 0.73 percent increase in October when compared to September's NTP. This increase in the price index is due to the receive price index which increases faster than the prices of household consumption commodities and capital goods. This occurs in the subsectors of food crops, horticulture and animal husbandry.
In rural areas, deflation occurred, especially in the food, beverage and tobacco commodity groups.
