Abstract

  • The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for December 2022 is based on the calculation of NTP with a base year of 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely rice & palawija, horticulture, community plantation crops, animal husbandry and fisheries.
  • In November, the NTP of East Nusa Tenggara was 95.98 with the NTP of each subsector recorded at 94.84 for the rice-palawija crop subsector (NTP-P), 101.12 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 91.57 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTP-TPR); 109.00 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 95.08 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
  • There was a 0.16 percent increase in November when compared to the October NTP. The increase in the price index was due to an increase in the acceptable price index while the price of household consumption commodities decreased. This happens in the subsector of food crops and plantations.
  •  In rural areas, deflation occurs, especially in the food, beverage and tobacco commodity groups.
