Abstract

In June, the NTP of Nusa Tenggara Timur was 94,82 with the NTP of each sub-sector recorded at 92.26 for the rice-crop sub-sector (NTP-P), 102,71 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 92,79 for smallholder plantation sub-sector (NTP-TPR); 107,86 for the livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) and 96,51 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTPPi).
  • There was an increase of 0,45 percent in June when compared to May's NTP. The increase in the price index was due to the development of the receiving price index which was higher than the prices for consumption commodities and capital goods. This occurs in almost all sub-sectors, except livestock.
  • In rural areas, inflation occurred, especially in the personal care and other services commodity groups.
