July 2022 Farmer's Exchange Rate decreased by 0.32 percent when compared to the period in June 2022.

Abstract

‎- The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for July 2022 is based on the calculation of NTP with the base year 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely the rice &palawija subsector, horticulture, community plantation crops, animal husbandry and fisheries.‎

‎- In July, east Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 94.52 with the NTP of each subsector recorded at 92.02 for the rice-palawija crop subsector (NTP-P), 103.83 for the horticulture subsector (NTP-H); 91.67 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTP-TPR); 108.21 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 96.95 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).‎

‎- There was a 0.32 percent decrease in July when compared to the June NTP. The decline in the price index is due to the slower development of the receive price index than the price of household consumption commodities. This happens in the food crops and plantation subsectors.‎

‎-In rural areas, inflation occurs, especially in the food, beverage and tobacco commodity groups.‎
