The Economy of Nusa Tenggara Timur in 2021 grew 2,51 percent

Abstract

The economy of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in 2021 will reach Rp 110,89 trillion and based on constant prices in 2010 it will reach Rp 70,54 trillion.
NTT's economy in 2021 grew by 2,51 percent (c-to-c). In terms of business fields, the highest economic growth was achieved by the fields of Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling by 11,34 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the PKLNPRT component experienced the highest growth, 6,61 percent.
NTT's economy in the fourth quarter of 2021 grew 3,10 percent compared to the same period in 2020 (y-on-y). In terms of business fields, the highest economic growth was achieved by the Health Services and Mandatory Social Security business fields, 15,96 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) experienced the highest growth, 14,92 percent.
When compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q), the economy of NTT in the fourth quarter of 2021 grew 2,59 percent. In terms of business fields, the highest growth occurred in the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision business field, 24,49 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth, 52,36 percent.
The economic structure of NTT in 2021 is still dominated by agriculture, forestry and fisheries business fields with a contribution of 29,17 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, household consumption expenditure is still dominated by 68,95 percent.
