The economy of Nusa Tenggara Timur in the third quarter of 2021 grows 2,37 percent

Abstract

The economy of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) in the third quarter of 2021 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in 2021 reached IDR 28,08 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices it reached IDR 17,83 trillion.
  • NTT's economy in the third quarter of 2021 grew by 2,37 percent compared to the same period in 2020 (y-on-y). In terms of business fields, the highest economic growth was achieved by the Construction business sector of 15,48 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component experienced the highest growth of 6,66 percent.
  • NTT's economy in the third quarter of 2021 grew by 1,15 percent compared to the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q). In terms of business fields, the highest growth occurred in the Construction business sector at 16,39 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Export Component experienced the highest growth of 80,13 percent.
  • NTT's economy in the first quarter of 2021 grew by 2,31 percent (c-to-c). From the production side, the highest economic growth in the first quarter of 2021 was achieved by the Water Supply business field of 13,10 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the PK-LNPRT component experienced the highest growth of 3,72 percent.
  • The economic structure of NTT in the third quarter of 2021 was still dominated by agriculture, forestry and fisheries with a contribution of 29,04 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, household consumption is still dominated by 68,16 percent.
