Kupang, October 1, 2026 – BPS (Statistics Indonesia) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province has released several key strategic indicators for the province, covering the period of August–September 2026. The release was conducted online via the BPS NTT YouTube streaming channel and presented by the Head of BPS NTT, Matamira B. Kale. Below are the highlights from this official statistical news release:

Key points from today’s release:

1. In September 2026, East Nusa Tenggara Province recorded a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 2.67 percent. The highest y-on-y inflation occurred in Waingapu, at 3.58 percent.

2. The Farmer’s Terms of Trade (NTP) for September 2026 stood at 101.78, an increase of 0.48 percent compared to August 2026.

3. East Nusa Tenggara’s trade balance from January to August 2026 recorded a surplus of US$ 40.18 million.

4. The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star-rated hotels in August 2026 reached 52.35 percent, a decrease of 2.52 percent (y-on-y).

5. The number of air transport flights in August 2026 increased by 3.16 percent compared to July 2026.
