Heroes' Day Commemoration Ceremony: Keep Moving, Continue the Struggle

The East Nusa Tenggara Province Statistics Agency (BPS) held a Heroes' Day Commemoration Ceremony. The ceremony began promptly at 7:30 a.m. Central Indonesian Time (WITA) and was attended by BPS NTT Province employees and student interns.

The ceremony was led by the Acting Head of General Affairs of BPS NTT Province, Mr. Demarce M. Sabuna. In his address, he conveyed remarks from the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia:

“The heroes fought for future generations, for the prosperity of the nation they loved. They made this struggle a form of worship; their blood and tears are an undying prayer. To give up is to abandon the mandate of humanity. This is a significant asset for our current generation. The unyielding spirit of struggle is the strength for us and future generations to continue the ideals the heroes have achieved.”

The NTT Province BPS participated in the Heroes' Day Ceremony with the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. The ceremony took place at the square of the East Nusa Tenggara Governor's Official Residence, and was attended by the Head of BPS Province, Mrs. Matamira B. Kale.
