BPS of East Nusa Tenggara Province held a press conference regarding several indicators which were delivered directly by the Head of BPS Province of NTT Matamira B. Kale. Some important points include:
1. April 2023, a combination of 3 Inflation Cities in East Nusa Tenggara experienced an MtM Deflation of 0.05 percent with a CPI of 114.55. Kupang City experienced MtM Deflation of 0.16 percent, Maumere City experienced MtM Inflation of 0.04 percent and Waingapu City experienced MtM Inflation of 0.76 percent.
2. In April 2023, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 96.08 with the NTP of each sub-sector recorded at 95.32 for the rice-plants sub-sector (NTP-P), 101.38 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H) ; 90.26 for the smallholder plantation sub-sector (NTP-TPR); 110.14 for the livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) and 95.28 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTPPi).
3. East Nusa Tenggara's trade balance in March 2023 experienced a surplus of US$ 0.60 million, with details of the non-oil and gas sector experiencing a surplus of US$ 0.32 million, while the oil and gas sector had a surplus of US$ 0.28 million.
4. The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province in March 2023 was recorded at 33.31 percent, down 18.36 percent compared to the TPK in March 2022. When compared to the previous month, the TPK in March 2023 increased by 3 .00 percent.
