February 6 2023, BPS Province of NTT released the Official Statistical News regarding Economic Growth in the Fourth Quarter of 2022. Delivered directly by the Head of the NTT Provincial BPS, Matamira B. Kalem, the release of the Official Statistical News was carried out online via the BPS NTT Province youtube channel. Here are some important points from the Statistical Official News:

- The economy of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2022 reached IDR 118.72 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 72.70 trillion.

- The NTT economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 grew by 3.45 percent compared to the same period in 2021 (y-on-y). In terms of business fields, the highest economic growth was achieved by the Wholesale and Retail Trade and Car and Motorcycle Repair fields of 7.68 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) experienced the highest growth, namely 3.26 percent.

- The economic structure of NTT in 2022 will still be dominated by the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery business fields with a contribution of 29.60 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side it was still dominated by Household Consumption Expenditures, namely 70.43 percent.
