April 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province will be 2.35 percent

Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province will be 2.35 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.18. The highest inflation occurred in Kupang City at 2.59 percent with a CPI of 106.18 and the lowest occurred in South Central Timor Regency at 1.83 percent with a CPI of 106.08.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.43 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.32 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.20 percent; health group at 1.54 percent; transportation group by 1.65 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.04 percent; education group at 0.12 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 4.04 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.77 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: equipment, tools and routine household maintenance by 0.41 percent and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.24 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate for East Nusa Tenggara Province in April 2024 is 0.31 percent. Meanwhile, the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for East Nusa Tenggara Province in April 2024 is 0.98 percent.
