June 2023 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of 96.58, down 0.11 percent when compared to May 2023

Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for June 2023 is based on the calculation of NTP with a base year of 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation covers 5 subsectors, namely rice & crop subsectors, horticulture, community plantation crops, animal husbandry and fisheries.
In June 2023, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP is 96.58 with the NTP of each subsector recorded at 94.84 for the rice-crop sub-sector (NTP-P), 101.85 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 92.70 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTP-TPR); 111.29 for livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 96.11 for fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was a decrease of 0.11 percent in June when compared to the May NTP. This decline in the price index is caused by a faster decline in the receiving price index than the paid price. This occurs in the Food Crops and Fisheries subsector.
In rural areas, there was deflation of 0.06 percent, especially in the food, beverage, tobacco commodity groups; housing, water, electricity and household fuel.
