Abstract

The percentage of poor people in September 2022 was 20.23 percent, an increase of 0.18 percentage points against March 2022 and a decrease of 0.21 percentage points against September 2021.

The number of poor people in September 2022 was 1.15 million people, an increase of 17.6 thousand people against March 2022 and an increase of 2.9 thousand people against September 2021.

The percentage of urban poor in March 2022 was 8.84 percent, rising to 9.00 percent in September 2022. Meanwhile, the percentage of rural poor in March 2022 was 23.86 percent, rising to 24.11 percent in September 2022.

Compared to March 2022, the number of urban poor people in September 2022 increased by 4.6 thousand people (from 126.80 thousand people in March 2022 to 131.36 thousand people in September 2022). Meanwhile, in the same period the number of rural poor people increased by 13.0 thousand people (from 1,004.83 thousand people in March 2022 to 1,017.81 thousand people in September 2022).

The Poverty Line in September 2022 was recorded at Rp490,909,-/capita/month with the composition of the Food Poverty Line of Rp380,566,- (77.52 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of Rp110,343,- (22.48 percent).

As of September 2022, the average poor household in NTT Province has 5.45 household members. Thus, the amount of the Poverty Line per poor household on average is Rp2,675,454,-/poor household/month.
