Abstract

  • October 2022, a combination of 3 Inflation Cities in East Nusa Tenggara experienced inflation of 0.25 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.00. Kupang City experienced 0.37 percent inflation, Maumere City experienced 0.08 percent deflation and Waingapu City experienced 0.34 percent deflation.
  • October 2022 Combined Inflation in East Nusa Tenggara occurred due to an increase in the price index in 11 of the 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest increase in the price index was the personal care and other services group, which rose by 1.17 percent.
  • In October 2022, of the 90 cities sampled by the National CPI, 29 cities experienced inflation and 61 cities experienced deflation. The city that experienced the highest inflation was Manokwari City at 0.76 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Cilacap, Sintang, and Gorontalo City at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the largest deflation occurred in Gunungsitoli City at 1.48 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Sampit City at 0.01 percent.
