July 2022 East Nusa Tenggara experienced 1.05 percent inflation

Abstract

- July 2022, a combination of 3 cities in East Nusa Tenggara experienced inflation of 1.05 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.95. Kupang City experienced 1.07 percent inflation, Maumere City experienced 1.51 percent inflation and Waingapu City experienced 0.48 percent inflation.

- Inflation in July 2022 in East Nusa Tenggara occurred due to an increase in the price index in 7 of the 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest increase in the price index was the transportation group, which rose by 3.07 percent.

-In July 2022, of the 90 cities sampled by the National CPI, 90 cities experienced inflation and no cities experienced deflation. The city that experienced the highest inflation was Kendari City at 2.27 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Pematang Siantar and Tanjung at 0.04 percent.
