September 2021 Nusa Tenggara Timur's Province experienced a deflation of 0,30 percent

Abstract

In September 2021, a combination of 3 cities in Nusa Tenggara Timur experienced a deflation of 0,30 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104,44. Kupang City experienced deflation of 0,39 percent, Maumere City experienced deflation of 0,05 percent and Waingapu City experienced inflation of 0,27 percent.
  • Inflation in September 2021 in Nusa Tenggara Timur occurred due to a decrease in the price index in 3 of the 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest decline in the price index was the food, beverage and tobacco category, which fell by -1,19 percent.
  • In September 2021, of the 90 cities sampled by the National CPI, 34 cities experienced inflation and 56 cities experienced deflation. The city that experienced the highest inflation was Pangkal Pinang City at 0,60 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Surakarta City at 0,01 percent. Meanwhile, the largest deflation occurred in Gorontalo City at 0,90 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Palu City at 0,01 percent.
