Abstract

May 2021, 3 Cities in Nusa Tenggara Timur experience inflation by 0,63 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106,05. Kupang City experienced inflation of 0,74 percent, Maumere City experienced deflation of 0,21 percent and Kota Waingapu experienced inflation of 0,67 percent.
  • May 2021 inflation in Nusa Tenggara Timur occurred due to terjadi an increase in the price index in 7 out of 11 groups spending. Expenditure groups that experienced an increase the largest price index is the food, beverage, and tobacco which increased by 1,36 percent.
  • In May 2021, of the 90 cities sampled by the National CPI, 78 cities experienced inflation and 12 cities experienced deflation. the city that experienced the highest inflation occurred in Manokwari City at 1,82 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Tembilahan City at 0,01 percent. Meanwhile, the largest deflation occurred in Timika City of 0,83 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in the city of Palembang of 0,02 percent.
