FGD to identify VISION Target Indicators and Main Indicators for NTT Development

Kupang, June 9, 2026—The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of East Nusa Tenggara Province, together with the NTT Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bapperida), regional apparatuses, vertical agencies, and various stakeholders, held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Identifying Target Indicators for the Vision and Key Indicators of NTT Province's Development.

Through this forum, participants discussed the concept and methodology of development indicators, identified available data sources, and strengthened cross-agency coordination to support the provision of accurate, consistent, and sustainable data.

This collaboration is a crucial step in realizing measurable, evidence-based regional development that is oriented towards the welfare of the people of East Nusa Tenggara.

The event also provided information regarding the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census, which will serve as a strategic data source for mapping the potential and structure of the Indonesian economy, including in NTT Province.
