May 6 2024, BPS East Nusa Tenggara Province again released several of the latest strategic indicators. The Press Release was held in the 2nd Floor Hall of BPS NTT Province and led by the Head of BPS NTT Province, Mrs. Matamira B. Kale. Present at the release was the Acting Head of the Economic and Development Administration Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of NTT Province, Mr. Alexander B Koroh, representatives of the NTT Province OPD and journalists from various media. Here are some key points in the release:

1. NTT's economy in the first quarter of 2024 grew by 3.61 percent compared to the same period in 2023 (y-on-y)

2. The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) for February 2024 was 3.17 percent, an increase of 0.07 percentage points compared to February 2023

3. The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) for East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2023 was 0.428, down 0.008 points compared to 2022 which was 0.436
