Socialization of 2023 EPSS Results

In order to measure the performance of sectoral statistics in Indonesia, as of 2023, the Central Statistics Agency conducts an assessment of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) on Ministries, Institutions and Regional Governments. EPSS will produce a measure in the form of a Statistical Development Index which is a benchmark for the maturity and readiness of Ministries, Institutions and Local Governments in the implementation of statistics. After going through a long process starting from identification and self-assessment in July 2023 to the National Plenary in September 2023, finally the NTT Provincial BPS announced the 2023 EPSS results through the Socialization of the 2023 EPSS Results of NTT Province. The event, which was attended by OPD representatives within the NTT Provincial Government, took place on December 19, 2023 at the NTT Provincial BPS Hall. Through his remarks, the Head of BPS NTT Matamira B Kale is committed to strengthening cooperation and coordination in the implementation of sectoral statistics with the NTT Provincial Government so that IPS in NTT Province can increase as a form of joint responsibility to present quality data for Advanced Indonesia.
