[Percentage of Poor People in NTT September 2022 is 20.23%]

This afternoon, BPS NTT Province held a Press Conference on NTT Provincial Poverty Indicators. The press conference was delivered by the Associate Statistisi of BPS NTT Province, Indra A. S. Souri. Here are some key points from the press conference:

- The percentage of poor people in September 2022 was 20.23 percent, an increase of 0.18 percentage points against March 2022 and a decrease of 0.21 percentage points against September 2021.

- The number of poor people in September 2022 was 1.15 million people, an increase of 17.6 thousand people against March 2022 and an increase of 2.9 thousand people against September 2021

- In September 2022, the level of expenditure inequality of the population of NTT Province as measured using the Gini Ratio was 0.340. This figure increased by 0.006 points when compared to the March 2022 Gini Ratio of 0.334 and an increase of 0.001 points when compared to the September 2021 Gini Ratio of 0.339
