BPS and Diskominfo Cooperation Agreement

As stated in Presidential Decree No. 39 of 2019, the Department of Communication and Information (Diskominfo) was given the task of being a data guardian, with the main task of collecting, checking, and processing data submitted by data producers. Data producers in this case are Local Government Organizations (OPD) in Local Governments. Therefore, on July 4, 2022, Diskominfo held an activity for Strengthening the Capacity of Human Resources for the Management of Sectoral Statistics within the NTT Provincial Government.

As a follow-up, the NTT Provincial BPS held a socialization and signed a cooperation agreement for the Management and Development of Sectoral Data within the NTT Provincial Government at the NTT Province BPS hall on 27 July 2022. In this activity, the Head of the NTT Province BPS, Matamira B. Kale and Aba Maulaka as the Head of the NTT Province Diskominfo signed a cooperation agreement. Materials regarding the EPSS (Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics) to measure the progress of implementing sectoral statistics in central and local government agencies were also presented by Demarce M. Soana, Statistician Associate Expert BPS NTT Province. This synergy is a form of coordination between the NTT Province BPS as the data builder, Diskominfo as the data guardian, and the OPD as the data producer.
