The number of air transportation flights in September 2023 decreased by 10.77 percent and sea transportation decreased by 20.70 percent compared to August 2023

Abstract

The number of air freight flights in September 2023 decreased by 5.72 percent when compared to August 2023 and rose 14.28 percent from September 2022.
The number of air transport flights in September 2023 is 3,362 flights, the number is divided into 1,681 departing flights and 1,681 flights.
The airport with the largest flight share is Eltari Airport, Kupang with a total share of 37.42 percent, and followed by Komodo Labuhan Bajo Airport, West Manggarai with a total share of 24.99 percent.
In September 2023, the number of air transport passengers will be 238,043 people. This number decreased by 10.77 percent compared to August 2023, namely with the number of air transport passengers of 266,785 people, and an increase of 23.97 percent with the number of air transport passengers of 192,015 people.
The number of air transport passengers is divided into departing passengers (116,025 people) and arriving passengers (122,018 people).
The number of sea freight voyages in September 2023 rose 59.99 percent when compared to August 2023 and rose 141.86 percent from September 2022.
The number of sea transport passengers in September 2023 is 328,017 people, a decrease of 20.70 percent compared to August 2023 and an increase of 19.01 percent compared to September 2022.
The number of sea freight passengers is divided into disembarking passengers (160,245 people) and boarding passengers (167,772 people).
