September 2023 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) was 97.52, an increase of 0.40 percent compared to August.

Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for September 2023 is based on the NTP calculation with the base year 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely the rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries subsectors.
In September 2023, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 97.52 with the NTP for each subsector recorded at 96.63 for the rice-palawija sub-sector (NTP-P), 101.26 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 92.49 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTP-TPR); 111.37 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 96.48 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was an increase of 0.40 percent in September when compared to August NTP. The increase in the price index was caused by the development of the received price index which was faster than the paid price. This only happens in the Food Crops subsector.
In rural areas there was inflation of 0.32 percent. This inflation mainly occurred in the transportation subgroup and the food, beverage and tobacco subgroup.
