Abstract

In May 2023, the combined 3 Inflation Cities in East Nusa Tenggara experienced MtM Deflation of 0.64 percent with a CPI of 113.81. Kupang City experienced MtM Deflation of 0.79 percent, Maumere City experienced MtM Deflation of 0.05 percent and Waingapu City experienced MtM Deflation of 0.03 percent.
For May 2023 YoY Inflation, the Combined 3 Cities Inflation is 4.20 percent, Kupang City is 4.16 percent, Maumere City is 4.90 percent, and Waingapu City is 3.80 percent.
In May 2023, out of 90 cities sampled by National CPI, 77 cities experienced MtM Inflation and 13 cities experienced MtM Deflation. The city that experienced the highest MtM Inflation was Tanjung Pandan City at 1.28 percent while the lowest MtM Inflation occurred in Pangkal Pinang City at 0.01 percent. The city that experienced the highest MtM Deflation was Kupang City at 0.79 percent while the lowest MtM Deflation occurred in Bima City at 0.03 percent.
The highest YoY inflation occurred in Kotabaru City at 6.04 percent and the lowest YoY Inflation occurred in Pangkal Pinang City at 1.93 percent.
