Abstract

The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2021 is based on the calculation of NTP with the base year 2018 (2018=100). The calculation of NTP includes 5 sub-sectors, namely rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries.
  • In July, the NTP of Nusa Tenggara Timur was 95,06 with the NTP of each sub-sector recorded at 93,94 for the sub-sector of rice-crop crops (NTP-P); 105,71 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H); 91,56 for smallholder plantation sub-sector (NTP-TPR); 104,00 for the livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) and 92,45 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi).
  • There was an increase of 0,74 percent in the NTP in July when compared to the NTP in June. The increase in the price index was due to an increase in the received price movement in July compared to the decrease in the paid price. This increase occurred especially in the food crops sub-sector (rice).
  • In rural areas, deflation occurred, especially in household consumption commodities in the food, beverage and tobacco subcategories.
