• The economy of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) based on magnitude
Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on price
effective in 2020 reaching Rp.25.95 trillion and on the basis of
2010 constant prices reached Rp16.74 trillion.
• The economy of NTT in the first quarter of 2020 grew by 2.84 percent
compared to the same period in 2019
(y-on-y). From the field of business, economic growth
the highest was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field
by 14.50 percent. From the expenditure side, growth
the highest was achieved by the Household Consumption component
(PK-RT) by 4.41 percent.
• The economy of NTT in the first quarter of 2020 experienced a contraction of 7.62
percent compared to quarter IV-2019 (q-to-q). From the side
business field, the highest growth achieved by the field
Information and Communication 1.67 percent. Whereas from
the expenditure side of the lowest contraction occurs in the component
Household consumption (PK-RT) of 2.78 percent.
• The economic structure of NTT in 2020 is still dominated by
Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries business fields with
contribution of 27.15 percent. While from the side
expenditure is still dominated by household consumption, i.e.
by 75.41 percent.
