Information Openness: A Manifestation of Public Transparency

To foster understanding and awareness regarding the importance of information openness in achieving transparent and accountable public services, BPS, in collaboration with the NTT Information Commission (KI NTT), organized the "2026 Public Information Openness Socialization and Education" event.

The event was opened by the Head of BPS NTT Province, Matamira B. Kale, and attended by Public Information Management Officials (PPID) and PPID implementation units from provincial, regency, and city-level BPS offices across East Nusa Tenggara. Also present was NTT Information Commission (KI) Commissioner Riesta Ratna Mega Sari, who participated as a resource person.

Public information openness represents the fulfillment of the public's right to access information regarding the operations of public bodies. Let us work together to build a culture of information openness and create public services that are increasingly transparent, accountable, and trustworthy!
