Statistical Agent Development – Undana Statistics Corner, August 2026

August 31, 2026 | Other Activities

The "Pojok Statistik" (Statistics Corner) is a collaborative initiative between BPS-Statistics NTT Province and higher education institutions, designed to make it easier for students to access BPS statistical data. The Statistics Corner regularly engages students as "Statistics Agents" to help boost statistical literacy among the student body. Consequently, on Monday, August 31, 2026, BPS-Statistics NTT Province held a training session for the Statistics Agents of the Nusa Cendana University Statistics Corner. These agents will serve as promoters of BPS statistical services among students from September through December 2026.

The training session was opened by Indra A. S. Souri, Head of the BPS-Statistics NTT Province Statistics Corner Team, and was attended by 18 Statistics Agents from the Nusa Cendana University Statistics Corner, alongside the BPS-Statistics NTT Province Statistics Corner Team. Through this training, the agents are expected to gain a solid understanding of the statistical services offered by BPS, enabling them to share this information effectively with their fellow students.
