Regional Instructor Training for Strategic Plantation Commodity Surveys in 2026

February 21, 2026 | BPS Activities

The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) conducted the 2026 Regional Instructor Training for Strategic Plantation Commodity Surveys. The training was conducted in two online phases: MOOC (Moving On) on February 13-15, 2026, and Distance Learning (PJJ) on February 18-20, 2026.

VKOMSTRAT2026 aims to obtain an index or production pattern of strategic smallholder plantation commodities as a basis for compiling Indonesian macroeconomic indicators. Commodities covered include palm oil, rubber, coffee, cocoa, tea, coconut, cloves, pepper, cashew nuts, nutmeg, sago, candlenut, sugarcane, and tobacco. This data plays a crucial role in compiling GDP, the Commodity Balance, and supports the agricultural downstreaming agenda and national food security.
