On Friday, November 21, 2025, the Head of the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of East Nusa Tenggara Province, Matamira B. Kale, attended a meeting between the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and the Mayor of Kupang and Regents from across the province. The meeting took place in the Hall of the Governor's Official Residence. The theme was "Building a Progressive NTT Through Innovative Collaboration."

The working meeting featured several speakers, including the Governor of NTT, Melki Laka Lena; the Deputy Governor of NTT, Johni Asadoma; the Director of Eastern Indonesia Development, Bappenas RI, Ika Retna Wulandari; the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of NTT Province, Adi Setiawan; and the Head of the Bali-Nusra Regional Nutrition Fulfillment Office, Mursina Wahyuningsih Daeng.

During the meeting, the Governor of NTT, Melkiades Laka Lena, presented the latest developments in NTT's development programs amidst budget efficiency. Furthermore, the Governor emphasized fiscal independence and optimizing existing resources or seeking new resources to finance development programs in East Nusa Tenggara.
