On Saturday, August 23, 2025, the Head of the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of East Nusa Tenggara Province, Matamira B. Kale, attended the Closing Ceremony of the NTT Provincial Development Exhibition, held from August 11 to 23, 2025, by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Communications and Information Office (Diskominfo) @dinaskominfontt under the direct direction of the Governor and Deputy Governor of NTT. The event began with the announcement and awarding of prizes for the 2026 Economic Census Video Competition at the BPS NTT Provincial Stand, attended by the winners.
At the Development Exhibition, themed #NTTBaGaYa, the BPS NTT Provincial Stand was named one of the Favorite Stands chosen by the Jury, and the award was presented directly by the Deputy Governor of NTT, Jhoni Asadoma. This is an exciting achievement, highlighting the success of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) in publicizing the 2026 Economic Census.
In his remarks, the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena (@melkilakalena.official), emphasized that the success of this event reflects the economic recovery of the community, particularly Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and demonstrates the high enthusiasm of the NTT community for regional development. Melki also expressed confidence that the number of visitors and the resulting cash flow exceeded initial estimates.
