Improve BPS Economic Indicator Literacy

Understanding the data correctly is important so that the data produced is not misinterpreted in its use.

Today a Statistical📊 Education Webinar was held 📊with the theme of Economic Indicator Literacy. This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, at an offline event attended by journalists and students. 😊

It is explained in simple terms the understanding of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) from the side of the Business Field and the side of Expenditure. In addition to economic indicators, to support the economic portrait, social indicators are also explained, namely the Human Development Index (HDI).

In his remarks, Matamira Bangngu Kale as the Head of BPS NTT Province, invited the community to learn together in understanding data. Be a wise and critical society to the data or statistics produced to measure regional development.
