In order to improve the quality of public services, BPS is implementing the Integrated Statistics Service Development (PST) and Statistics Corner (Potik) 2024 for two days effectively from 30-31 October in Surabaya.
This event was opened by the Acting Deputy for Statistics Methodology and Information of BPS: Pudji Ismartini who expressed her gratitude and high appreciation to the PST and Statistics Corner teams of BPS, along with Universities (PT) throughout Indonesia. She also emphasized BPS's commitment to continue improving the quality of public services that meet national and international standards through the Guidelines of the Minister of PANRB No. 5/2023 concerning Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Delivery Performance (PEKPPP) and the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Until 2024, BPS RI has implemented PEKPPP Mandiri activities for all BPS Provincial PSTs and in 2025 this activity will be continued by BPS Province for BPS Regency/City PSTs. Until 2024, 15 BPS Provincial PSTs have received ISO 9001:2015 certification, in 2025 certification will be carried out for 19 BPS Provincial PSTs including BPS NTT Province. During the coaching, the number of Potiks resulting from collaboration between BPS and PT throughout Indonesia has reached 131 Potiks including two Potiks in NTT Province. After the opening, a panel discussion was continued with the topic "BPS Public Service Transformation: Building Collaborative, Integrated and National/International Standard Services". The speakers were Dwi Retno Wilujeng Wahyu Utami, Director of Statistics Dissemination of BPS; Muhammad Yusuf Kurniawan, Assistant Deputy for Formulation of Public Service Systems and Strategies, Kemenpan-RB; and Waniwatining Astuti, Lead Auditor of the Certification Body from PT. CBQA Global, Indonesia; and moderated by Heru Margono, Chief Statistician, BPS. The next event, participants were divided into three discussion classes, namely the PST Team class, the Potik Team class and Potik Coordinator from PT; and the Statistics Agent Class. The second day, continued with benchmarking activities at Potik UPN Veteran Jatim in Surabaya, then Team Building in Kaliandra, Pasuruan. This activity was attended by 147 participants from BPS RI and the Regions, as well as Lecturers/Potik Coordinators and Statistics Agents from all over Indonesia.
