Development of Sectoral Statistics for the NTT Provincial Government - Statistical Recommendations

Sectoral statistics are an important aspect in formulating plans, monitoring, evaluating and also in making regional development policies. The quality of sectoral statistical data is important to ensure that the resulting data is used appropriately. Therefore, BPS NTT Province as the data supervisor in collaboration with the Data Manager in the East Nusa Tenggara One Data Forum has organized Sectoral Statistics Development activities for several agencies within the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. This coaching was carried out at the Harper Hotel Kupang, Thursday 25 July 2024.

The event opened with a speech by the Regional Secretary of NTT Province, represented by the Head of the NTT Province Communication and Information Service, Mr Frederik C. P. Koenunu, then continued with the signing of a Joint Commitment in Collaboration in Providing Quality Statistical Data with the Head of BPS NTT Province, Matamira B. Kale.

In the final session, material was delivered to participants regarding Sectoral Data Management by the Head of the Communication and Information Service, Strengthening the Implementation of Regional Government Sectoral Statistics and Statistical Recommendations by presenters from BPS.
