Plenary Meeting for Evaluation of the Implementation of NTT Province Sectoral Statistics

The Statistical Development Index is one of the achievement indicators made by the Central Bureau of Statistics to assess the level of maturity of sectoral statistics implementation in Regional Governments and Ministries/Institutions. The index is the main output of the Sectoral Statistics Evaluation activity which began to be launched in 2022.

Located at Aston Hotel, Kupang, representatives of the Agency Assessment Team of each district/city throughout East Nusa Tenggara Province gathered to hold a plenary meeting to determine the statistical development index of local governments in NTT Province. This meeting lasted two effective days with the main agenda of detailed assessment discussion on a total of 38 assessment indicators. The results of the discussion were stated in the minutes signed by the NTT Provincial Agency Assessment Team.

The results of the meeting will then be presented at a national plenary meeting which will produce the final figures of the Local Government Statistical Development Index. In her closing remarks, the Head of BPS NTT Province, Matamira B. Kale advised that the District/City BPS actively collaborate with the Regional Government so that sectoral statistics development can run optimally and can improve the quality of sectoral statistics in general.
